MStM Athletic Boosters Minutes

Wednesday, October 10, 2018


Attending:  Sandy Kordick, Don Hatcher, Max Seeman, Kim Langloss, Lesley Dooley, Susan Matlage-Simms, Kelly Pearson, Misty Jones, Emily Cassady and Dan Cassady

Minutes Approval:  Approved

The meeting began @ 6:35 pm

AD’s Report:  Next uniform rotation

Max will let cross country/golf coaches know they are 1st quarter 2019 uniform rotation

Old Business:  Sandy mentioned the motorized flag (previously discussed).  We had mentioned they were expensive and would need more funding.

New Business:  Officer terms:  Leslie made a motion for 3 year terms and Don seconded…the vote carried.  Susan nominated Emily and Misty as Board members, Kim seconded and the vote carried.

Kim nominated Emily as Executive Officer and Lesley seconded..the vote carried.

We would like to thank Don Hatcher and Sandy Kordick for the years of service to the MstM Athletic Boosters and recognize their departure as of October 10, 2018.

We discussed Lesley’s replacement James Pearson…they will work together until May, when Lesley has stated she’ll retire.

PeeWee Wrestling Tournament:  is Nov. 17, 2018

Emily reported all moving ahead.  Still needing more workers.  Kim and Susan ask that all the current supplies be used as it appears we do not need to purchase concession supplies for the tournament.

Wrestling Singlets:  Dan presented a singlet design at a cost of $1,700 for 20.

Vball Tournament Notes:  Sold 3 pizzas, 20 subs, 1 crock taco meat, 12 muffins and less than a cooler of drinks.

Adjourn:  7:32 pm

Ongoing Booster meetings will take place in the school Library.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, November 14th at 7:00.
