MSTM Employment Opportunities

Martensdale-St. Marys has several employment opportunities available starting this summer. If you are interested in these positions, please complete an online application at www.teachiowa.gov.
Nutrition Supervisor
We have an immediate need for a Nutrition Supervisor to oversee the nutrition department. This position works 10 months out of the year, and the pay is $25-27/hr with single insurance paid. Hours are M-F: 7:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
Qualifications include:
– Must be able to obtain ServSafe certification upon hire
– Self-starter, detail-oriented person who has the ability to lead a small department
– No specific nutrition experience is required

Night Custodian
We have an immediate need for a night custodian. This position is year-round, M-F: 3:00 P.M. – 11:30 P.M. Pay for this position is $14.00/hr with occasional overtime and weekend opportunities.
Qualifications include:
– Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, and can work with minimal supervision.
– Some mechanical and previous custodial experience is a plus, but not required.

Summer Job Opportunity

Do you know of a teenager or college student who is looking for a fun, part-time job? Look no further! MStM Childcare is looking for part-time help this summer. Duties will include interacting with children, assisting with meal preparation, chaperoning field trips, and miscellaneous cleaning. The time commitment for this position will be approximately 30 hours a week and will begin June 2nd and end on August 17th. Trom Strong

Senior Brooks Trom was diagnosed with leukemia this week. It is time for us to pull together and be STRONG for the Trom family! In efforts to help the Trom family and show our support for Brooks we will be selling “Trom Strong” t-shirts and stocking hats.
