Check back here for district-wide updates on the novel coronavirus and MStM’s ongoing efforts and plans for returning to school. For questions or concerns, please contact the district office at (641) 764-2466.

From Our Superintendent

In-person school will begin as scheduled on August 24. There are a number of
mitigation measures outlined in previous communications and posted on our website.

Final safety requirements will be decided upon at the August 10 board meeting. Parents
also have the choice to keep students home if there are health issues or feel it is unsafe
to send them to school. Students will then participate in continuous or remote learning.
While remote learning cannot replicate in-person school, we will do our best to provide
instruction and practice with the resources available to us. This will not be a full school
day as they would have if they were in person within the building.

Attached you will find a request form if you wish for your student to participate in remote
learning instead of attending in person. This will also be posted on the website. Please
fill it out, email it back, mail it back, or drop it off at the central office by August 12. This
will allow us to plan accordingly.
