The scholarship committee selects recipients based on overall appearance of the application, how thorough the answers are on the completed application, student character throughout your school tenure, and student involvement in activities inside and outside of school. Factors such as financial need and unusual circumstances are taken into consideration. Recipients will also have been actively involved in classroom work, discussions, have good attendance, and are involved in extracurricular activities throughout their school tenure. Students will not be considered for any scholarship if they are not planning on continuing their education.

For scholarships that require the MStM Application, you only need to complete the application once and you will be eligible for all those scholarships.

  3. Complete any assigned make-up work prior to the absence (if available)

Mental health is paramount to student success in school. With growing awareness of its impact on school-aged children, MStM is committed to helping students by connecting them with the appropriate supports both in and out of school. If you or your student have needs in this area, please reach out to the Counseling Office or the HS principal.

For additional mental health care supports and services, please visit the National Alliance of Mental Illness (Iowa).
