Welcome to Martensdale-St. Marys Junior/Senior High School!

There is something special about being a Blue Devil. First and foremost, being a Blue Devil means you are part of a true family community. We care about and look out for one another, regardless of title or tenure. You’ll see this in every classroom, the cafeteria, on playing fields and courts, and every other corner of the school community.

  • All students in grades 7-12 are issued Chromebooks to enhance learning.

  • We have a dedicated and student-centered faculty and instructional support staff.

  • 100% of our teaching staff meets performance expectations.

  • Our facilities are second to none among Class 1A schools.

  • We enjoy success at all levels in all activities offered to students – athletics and the performing arts alike.

  • Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, we will return to a traditional, 8-period day within our four day instructional week.

The Martensdale-St. Marys Community School District partners with Street Smarts to provide Drivers Education Services.

Minor's Restricted License Signing
Special Minor's Restricted License

Students who qualify for a Special Minor's Restricted License (formerly the Minor School License (School Permit)) are encouraged to learn more about the requirements to obtain said license through the Iowa Department of Transportation here:  Special Minor's Restricted License

Students must download the Special Minor's Restricted License Affidavit Here:  Special Minor's Restricted License Affidavit and once complete, make arrangements to have the Superintendent sign the form verifying eligibility.
