Martensdale-St. Marys Elementary School is located in the town of Martensdale, on the same campus as the MSTM secondary facility. Approximately 305 students in Pre-K through 6th grade attend here. Classes are organized into two sections per grade level. Students are offered a full range of services including Special Education, Talented and Gifted, Title I reading, and academic support through interventions.

MSTM Elementary school has earned a rating of “High Performing” under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) performance profiles for the 2023 academic year, an improvement over the past year.

The Elementary Student Council is an active group involved in multiple projects. Red Ribbon Week Planning, Holiday Grams, Reading Buddies, Pennies for Patients, and helping with the school recycling program are just a few of the ways the students serve our community. Students in Grades 4-6 are eligible to serve as officers.

MSTM Elementary is a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school. PBIS is an evidence-based three-tiered framework to improve and integrate all of the data systems and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS creates a school environment where all students succeed. Blue Devil SWAG defines ways to “Stay Safe, Work Hard, Act Responsibly, and Give Respect,” at MSTM Elementary.
